  Avoid touching the front of any packaged duv-led directly with bare hands. Especially when operating the unsealed duv-led, such as SMT package, do not touch the top surface of the led to avoid damage to the lead and chip. In addition, oil pollution on bare hands will absorb ultraviolet light. When operating the duv-led, use tweezers to hold the ceramic or aluminum shell of the duv-led away from the front of the device

  dissipate heat

  No matter what kind of packaging method, when the duv-led is on, its heat sink base should be connected to the radiator or PCB with good heat dissipation performance with thermal conductive adhesive. It must not be used in the air, otherwise it will seriously affect the service life of duv-led. The company's 03wg series sample can be connected with heat sink

  Anti static and moisture proof

  Must use moisture-proof, anti-static packaging and moisture absorption materials to keep dry, if not open the packaging, usually can keep 1 year. Static electricity and moisture will cause great damage to duv-led, so when using relevant equipment and instruments, ensure grounding; ② Wear antistatic gloves; ③ Store in moisture-proof anti-static container, such as using anti-static bag, moisture-proof nitrogen gas holder, etc; ④ Before opening the package, LED devices should be kept at temperature ≤ 30 ℃, humidity ≤ 60% RH; ⑤ After opening the package, the product should be welded within 24 hours. If it cannot be welded in time, please store it at 16-30 ℃ and 45-60% RH. It is suggested that led should work under the workshop condition of 16 ~ 30 ℃ and humidity of 45 ~ 60% RH

  Hazard and protection

  For reflow soldering of UVLED devices, low temperature soldering should be used as far as possible, and the soldering temperature should not exceed 150oC, and the soldering time should not exceed 2 minutes. If high temperature welding is necessary, the maximum temperature shall not exceed 260 OC and the welding time shall not exceed 10 seconds!!! The number of reflow soldering for duv-led should not exceed 2 times. For SMT packaging products with optical components (such as lens), high temperature welding should be avoided to avoid the failure of lens adhesion

  Human skin and eyes exposed to ultraviolet radiation for a long time will cause damage. Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes during testing and use. Ordinary protective gloves, sunglasses, glass, etc. can effectively prevent the penetration of deep ultraviolet below 320 nm
